They don't accept return
I have spent thousands in this store, varying from hardwood floors to underlayment, tiles, etc. for my home reno.
When I went to their store to return some extra tiles I didn't use. Despite being in perfect condition they are unable to accept it as "I purchased it as a box". Apparently this is store policy, yet they allow the sale of tiles per piece? Like what?
You can sell per piece but don't allow return per piece just because it was from a box? Make it make sense.
- Tons of choices in flooring and tiles
- Only buy the amount you need since they dont accept returns

I would like to express how bad the restroom is at the Blanding store in Jacksonville, Fl. Someone has spread *** all over and NO ONE has cleaned it up!!! it smells very bad and how do they expect the employees to use the restroom! This is beyond acceptable.

Horrible Customer Service at Pick Up
The sales people at Floor & Decor Miami Gardens were excellent. However, the warehouse and delivery apparatus was awful. There was a very nice gentleman who tried to help but it was out of his hands. They were cleaning the warehouse. I waited for over 30 minutes for oe item to come out. When I asked to speak to a manager, or supervisor, there were none. I then spoke to a lady at the front desk who tried to help. Nobody coud answer ONE QUESTION: How much longer do I need to wait. There were ZERO customers ahead of me. I had received thorough explanation about their activity in warehouse, none of which had to do with delivery. All I wanted was a time frame about when the item woud come out of the back room. I had called at 9:26AM to notify that I would be coming. At this point, it was 1:30PM. The employee who wanted to explain again what the issue was did not even try to offer an estimate. Apparently, she had family people or friends at the store who then proceeded to scream and yell at me in the parking lot called me a *** and harrassed me. There were no management people on sight and the lift operator was almost a co-conspirator. Meanwhile, I never raised my voice at anyone simply wanted to know how much longer would it take. What I find the most interesting is that there were exactly 3 customers total at the store and I was one of them.
I will never shop at this store again because of poor (or non existent) management and obviously a bad experience with the people in the warehouse. Not to mention, you should never bring your family to work to then insult one of your customers.
It's a very sad commentary on how serious people do or do not take their work.
Kudos to Angie the Sales Rep at Miami Gardens who did make my experience good when shopping for a small bathroom reno.
Shame on Floor & Decor for not establishing a better delivery /warehouse department. It's so simple. You've lost a brand loyal customer. I'm sure you do not care either.

Verified Reviewer |I was misled by poorly informed staff and management concerning a store credit.
On Nov. 5, 2022 I purchased more than 60 boxes of Natural Hickory, Model # FDHI3NV, sku # 10098****..
I called the Farmingdale NY location and explain that I would like to get a store credit for 9 unopened boxes if possible. I told the uninformed, useless representative that it more than 3 months old as I gave him the sku number. I was told that it is an active sku and that I can return the large, heavy boxes. I did not want to load them and then have an issue at the store, so I called back and restated the facts and added that I did not have the receipt, but I could search for it before I load the boxes and make the return.
I was told not to worry, they can look it up at the store. When I arrived at the store, I unloaded 1 box only, brought it to the cashier to confirm the return will be honored. I told the person I had nine boxes, but I did not want to unload them all until I was told assured the store credit. I was told to bring the other boxes in because the receipt from Nov is in the system, and it will be no problem.
I unloaded the other boxes and brought them in as I was asked to. I had the credit card which I used for the initial purchases ready if they needed it. After a few minutes the cashier told me that the return was not possible and I would have to submit a TRE (the retail equation) and wait for a response within 3-4 weeks.
I had to reload the boxes into my truck due to the ignorance and lack of training for the 3 representatives that wasted hours of my day. The staff knew it was not a recent purchase and failed to warn me of the possible denial for a return or store credit.
- There are no pros when dealing with an untrained staff
- Ignorance of the store policies by the staff
Preferred solution: store credit as I was told 3 times by their staff, when I inquired before I loaded and unloaded these large, heavy boxes with my faulty hip!
User's recommendation: Shop elsewhere because the staff is not trained and uninformed.

I needed a tile that Floor and Decor discontinued (literally one tile) that had cracked. I asked to know the manufacturer so that I could inquire if they still made the tile. Customer support told me that they do not know the manufacturer, which is 100% false, and then admitted that they just won't tell who it is.
Love your stores and store staff, but your the "screw you" policy they have will insure that I go elsewhere in the future!

Very Poor Customer service in Humble tx
We started out with vinyl in 2 bedrooms We went in yesterday on 11/24/23 to pick up 10 or 12 more boxes. They were out of stock.
After 10 minutes we found an employee who could check stock. He said there was a full pallet in warehouse if we would go up and pay and pull around they would load the 10 boxes. We paid our 687,00 and proceeded to the loading area with the receipt. We were behind several other people but after 30 minutes even the people ahead of me were not taken care of.
I went inside and told them I would be happy to carry my boxes as the 3 people back there seemed to be doing more playing than working. Apparently all the supervisors were off for holiday weekend. I asked to speak with a manager. After another 20 minutes they told me that "Leo" was too busy to get to me right now?
Finally we stood in line again and got a refund. Not one single person at that store CARED!!
Today I am tearing out the two bedrooms we started with and will be going somewhere else to purchase the 2400 SQ ft that I neeld. I will no longer use or recommend floor and decor to any of my clients...

Made purchase in store same time & 1 transactions I received 18 months to pay without interest & the 2nd transaction was 6 months. Been trying to get through to them & they are closed by 7pm.

Maneger’s at Port St. Lucie Fl store are rude and yell at customers and cause a scene
NManegers yell at customer treating them as if they dont want to be bothered and they seem very irritated. The store is short staff and can never get customers help. The cashiers dont have help when needed and are scared to ask for help because the end result is attitude from managers employees are treated like *** if there not kissing ***
Phones don't get answered
I have tried to call several Floor & Decor Stores in the area for the last 4 days. No one will pick up the phone at any location.
I finally got through today and was told that the phone does not ring at store level sometimes for days. This has to be a corporate problem!

I was totally disrespected by Jessica the manager in the West Covina store on October 6, 2023. I was talk to like I was some kind of dog and I was in your store about to make a purchase.
Something has to be done about her I think she has no customer service and should be fired. I had to have 2 different deliveries for my wood floors. When the 2nd delivery of floors were delivered, the stair noses DID NOT MATCH the floors.
It's as if, you thought I, as the customer was a complete idiot with no eyesight.
Im HIGHLY UPSET as I had to wait 3 weeks for floors to be delivered and installed just to have the stair noses unfinished/non matching. I paid over $14K for those floors...they should MATCH.
Whomever fulfilled the delivery should be fired for being that stupid.
Half of my floors are already installed.
- Complete idiots with no order the whole fulfillment was chaos
